Bathurst Youth Development

Bathurst is an outdoor destination, and as proud South Africans Bathurst has always had a keen interest in sports and youth development. Below are are several initiatives that need support of the community, even if it just means supporting one of their local games by going through pulling up a chair and supporting our local cricket, soccer and boxing clubs based in Nolukhanyo, Bathurst.

Maliboxing

Maliboxing is over fifty kids strong, both boys and girls divisions, with a boxing studio open 7 days a week on Memani Street, Nolukhanyo. Started by Malibongwe Tokwe only a couple years ago, it has grown from strength to strength over the years. The kids have fought in national league fights, proving themselves to stand against bigger and better rivals from across the eastern cape. A number of boxing bouts have been hosted by them at the community hall in Nolukhanyo.
