COVID was just a few years ago, and pineapples became a big business as its easy to make beer through fermentation, and tastes delicious. Below is a simple recipe to make your own pineapple beer at home with some basic ingredients and one pineapple.
Ingredients:

1 large ripe pineapple (with skin)

1.5–2 cups white or brown sugar

4 liters (1 gallon) of water

Optional: cloves, ginger, cinnamon (for flavor)

1/4 teaspoon instant yeast (baking yeast or brewer’s yeast)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Wash and peel the pineapple

Scrub the pineapple to remove dirt (you’ll use the peel).

Cut off the top, skin, and core — keep the skin and core, chop the flesh for snacking or juicing.
2. Boil the peels and core

Add peels, core, and optional spices into a large pot with 4 liters of water.

Boil for 20–30 minutes, then let it cool to lukewarm.
3. Add sugar

Strain the liquid to remove solids.

Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
4. Add yeast

Wait until the liquid is lukewarm (not hot!), then add 1/4 tsp yeast.

Stir gently to dissolve.
5. Ferment

Pour into a clean glass or plastic container.

Cover loosely with a cloth or plastic wrap with holes.

Let it sit at room temperature for 24–48 hours.
6. Strain and bottle

Strain again through a fine sieve or cloth.

Pour into bottles (preferably plastic soda bottles to avoid explosion risks).

Leave a little space in each bottle.
7. Second fermentation (optional)

Let bottles sit at room temp for 1 more day for fizziness.

Then refrigerate to stop fermentation.
8. Serve chilled

Chill before drinking. Open carefully — it’s fizzy!

Consume within 1 week (store in fridge).
